Her life long willingness to serve others continued through retirement as she was always available for whoever needed help or perhaps just an ear. Her favorite things to do were: Bible reading to learn more about God's kingdom, sewing, volunteering in the reading program, and listening to her daughter's daily news. To all who knew Madeleine, they found a friend, confidant, peacemaker and counselor. We rise up to call her Blesséd. As requested by Madeleine, a private memorial graduation dinner was held to celebrate her life. The family wishes to thank all who so lovingly cared for Mother's needs. A special thank you to Pat, Vangie and Sahlee.
