I extend my profound gratitude and appreciation to the marvelous, extraordinary people who gave their skillful and compassionate care to my Mama, Martha Hale, the last four months and two days of her life. Her care needs were many, technical, and very intense. To the doctors and staffs of Roanoke Memorial Hospital and Berkshire Health and Rehabilitation Center, I shall be eternally grateful for all of your efforts, your sincere concern and dedication, and the love she felt from you. May all who are ill and who are the recipients of health care officials be so fortunate as to have persons of your competency, skills and compassion. To my "rock," my friend, Joan Morgan, there is no sufficient manner to express to you the appreciation I have for all the help you gave me in caring for Mama, helping me get her to her doctor, and all the visits you accompanied me on with her which made her so happy., To Mama's church family and our other friends, I say, 'Thank You," for the flowers you sent, donations to animal organizations, sincere messages in the cards, and your presence either at the funeral home or her burial to express your love of her and to comfort me. In whatever way you touched her life you also touched mine for SHE was my life., May God bless you all for your contributions., Dawn Hale, Daughter, Charities |
