Until his health failed, Hugh enjoyed his daily routines. Most importantly he could be found early in the morning sitting under a tree reading his Bible. He loved to ride his bike and make silver rings. Hugh was a kind, loving and caring person, who was dedicated to his family and his church. He had a sense of humor that would bring laughter and smiles to uplift the spirit of those around him. He enlightened the hearts of so many people with the songs that he sang. Some of his favorite selections were; "When I call on God, He will Come to my Rescue", "I am Redeemed, Bought with a Price", "I am a Living Testimony", "Just One Drop of the Blood of Jesus", "Two Wings" and "Everyday I'm Walking with the King". |

JACKSON In loving memory of our father and grandfather, Walter A. Jackson Sr., who left us eight years ago today, April 1. Love and memories never die. The Family |
Walt had a quick wit and was always sharing wise words of wisdom and funny stories (lippy!). His big smile made your heart melt. Oh, how he made us laugh throughout his life. Not to make fun of anyone. but to make us see ourselves and life's contradictions. And now we see one of those contradictions that a man so full of fun and so full of life should be taken from us so early. |
