The next chapter in her life was when she moved to Washington state to care for her first grandchild, Megan, and later Anna, Justin and Allison. She was so proud of her family and southern heritage. She knew so many people and touched everyone she met with her warm, generous, unselfish spirit and charm. She never met a person who didn't become an instant friend. We don't know anyone who gave more love and joy to everyone. Dittie's faith in God and her belief that death was just a next chapter in her being has supported the family in their loss.
